HBO’s biggest hit show has officially been renewed for a season four following the recent release of season 3. Plot details for the new season will most likely be kept top secret but some fans online are guessing the next location to potentially be set in France, Morocco, Greece, or South Africa

Outer Banks - Ending

Netflix’s young adventurers are set to return for a fifth and final season. The show’s creators have announced that with the last season they, “hope to bring our beloved Pogues home in the way we imagined and planned years ago.”

Severance - Renewed

The day after the season two premiere of Apple TV+’s hit sci-fi series, the tech giant and streamer officially announced plans for a third season.

Ted Lasso - Renewed

After a two year long wait, Apple TV+ confirmed that the soccer workplace comedy will be returning for a fourth season with Jason Sudeikis reprising his role in the Emmy-winning series.

The Sex Lives of College Girls - Canceled

After three seasons on Max, Mindy Kaling’s co-created raunchy comedy series has been cancelled. Starring Reneé Rapp and Pauline Chalamet, the show focused on the lives of four 18-year old college freshmen roommates and their sexually-active lifestyle .

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power - Renewed

Amazon Prime announced that it has begun filming for season three of the multi-hundred million dollar Lord of the Rings series. According to Amazon itself, the upcoming season will be taking place, “during the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the dark lord seeks to craft the One Ring”. No premiere date has been announced as of yet.

The Righteous Gemstones - Ending

Max has officially announced that the religious comedy series will be facing its conclusion with season four. Creator and star Danny McBride told Variety, “the Lord spoke to me and said it’s time to wrap this sucker up” and mentioned that this season will have some, “incredible payoffs, twists, and turns in store”.

English Teacher - Renewed

Despite the ongoing sexual assault allegation against creator and star Brian Jordan Alvarez, the FX show has been renewed for a second season. The allegations were made by his former friend and co-star Jon Ebling who worked with Alvarez on the 2016 web series “The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo”. FX has made it clear that it has no comment in regards to the allegations and will continue to produce the show despite the controversy.

The Summer I Turned Pretty - Ending

Amazon Prime’s popular adaptation of the young adult series will be coming to its conclusion with season three following along with author Jenny Han’s book trilogy.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians - Renewed

Disney+ has officially renewed its Percy Jackson adaptation series for a season three before the premiere of season two. The third season will follow the events of the third book in the series, The Titan’s Curse, and introduce the character of Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades.

Bel-Air - Ending

The darker and more intense reimagining of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” will be coming to an end with a fourth and final season. The series follows Jabari Banks as he makes a drastic move from West Philadelphia to Bel-Air and is confronted with the racial tensions, culture shock, and elitist world of the black bourgeoisie.

Amazon Prime Video’s failed attempt at rebooting the classic 1999 film is coming to an abrupt end after only one season.

XO, Kitty - Renewed

Netflix’s spinoff of the popular To All the Boys I Loved Before series will be returning for a third season with author and creator Jenny Han attached.

Abbott Elementary - Renewed

Quinta Brunson’s classroom work comedy has been renewed for a fifth season. The Disney+ show has received multiple accolades including primetime Emmys, SAG awards, Critic’s Choice Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and even a Peabody Award.

The Sandman - Ending

With author and creator Neil Gaiman facing alleged sexual assault and trafficking claims from his former babysitter, it comes as no surprise that Netflix’s “The Sandman” will be ending with season two.

Sweetpea - Renewed

Ella Purnell will be having a busy year as she is already set to star in season two of “Fallout”, a possible season four of “Yellowjackets” and now a confirmed second season of “Sweetpea”. The Starz series, based off of the book of the same name, follows Rhiannon Lewis, a soft-spoken wallflower whose life takes a dark and murderous turn after the death of her father.

HBO’s Dune spinoff series has been renewed for a second season following the success of the season one finale.

Velma - Canceled

Another Mindy Kaling created series, “Velma”, on Max has officially been canceled after two seasons. The adult animated series about the Scooby Doo character voiced by Kaling herself will not be returning anytime soon.

Nobody Wants This - Renewed

Due to the massive word of mouth and the internet’s love for Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, Netflix has renewed the romantic comedy series about a rabbi and an agnostic sex podcaster for a second season.

The Recruit - Canceled

Netflix has decided to cancel the Noah Centineo lead spy action series after only two seasons despite a seemingly successful second season launch in February.
